Caroline Yorke is a New Jersey based fine artist and dancer. She was accepted into Morris County School of Technology in the Visual and Performing Arts Academy where she majors in dance and minors in theatre arts. Here she trains in modern and ballet techniques. She also studies ballet at New Jersey Ballet. She has performed in works by Ruth Clark, Lynne Grossman, Lisa Peluso, Alex Biegelson and Tiffany Rea-Fisher and has choreographed works that have been performed at the Dragonetti Auditorium. In addition to this performing arts training, Caroline trains in oil painting and watercolor at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Other training comes from the Pratt Pre-College Program where she studied fine arts and personal art endeavors that include projects such as painting multiple murals in various elementary schools. Yorke has placed 1st Place in Artwork at the County College of Morris Teen Arts Festival. She works to integrate her visual and performing arts interests as much as possible. Yorke designed the set for her High School drama production of Stardust. She has also worked in film, drawing storyboards, acting and editing dance films. Above all else, Caroline is a leader in her school and community. She was selected to speak at Lincoln Center on behalf of her class’s dance film entitled Halls of Ivy at Dance on Camera film festival, where Halls of Ivy placed first. Within her school, she is not only a selected Peer Leader, but also is apart of the elite National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, International Thespian Society, and National Honors Society for Dance Arts.
