H. Oly (2017)
H. Oly is an abstract modern dance inspired by the works of Alwin Nikolias, where red fabric dehumanizes the dancers and accentuates form and motion. Seven Dancers including Caroline Yorke and her two Co-Choreographers, Sarah Row and Daniel Clover use crisp choreography and set improvisation to create a spectacle onstage that is nothing other than strange and up to the interpretation of the audience member. It was performed twice at Dragonetti Auditorium in 2017 to music by Craig Armstrong and The XX.
Hoaloha (2016)
Hoaloha, meaning friendship in Hawaiian is a modern piece inspired by the tight nit bonds between close friends and my time spent in Hawaii. Intricate partnering and lighthearted ukulele music by Jake Shimabukuro express the joy of friendship and community. Six Dancers including Caroline Yorke and her two Choreographers, Bailey Haigh and Sarah Row share this time together onstage. Hoaloha was performed at Dragonetti Auditorium in 2016.
